વિશુદ્ધ આત્માઓની વેદનાનું મહત્ત્વ ૨૮૧ ટથી તણાઈને પણ આપશું. આપણી એમ કહેવાની તાકાત હોવી જોઈ એ કે દસ હજાર લાયક છોકરા આવી શિષ્યવૃત્તિ માગનારા મળી આવે તો તે બધાને આપીએ.” e મુંબઈવાળાઓની સાથે વાતમાં : “ ગુરુવાયુર ન ખૂલે અને અમારે મરવું પડે તો આખા દેશ અસ્પૃશ્યતાથી ગંધાઈ ઊહશે.” ગુરુદેવના મંત્રીને લખ્યું : "I can sense his (Gurudev's ) agony even from this distance, but I suppose it is inevitable. This curse of untouchability will not be removed from our midst, the hearts of the orthodox will not melt without the purest souls in our land passing through the agony that Gurudev is passing through just now. Let us pray that God may sustain him and keep him in our midst for many years. "Gurudev's firm letter to the Zamorin ought to move him. During these days of travail Gurudev's blessings and help are of inesteemable value to me. Please give my love to him." | “ આટલે દૂરથી પણ ગુરુદેવની વેદનાની ખબર મને પડે છે. પણ હું ધારું છું કે એ અનિવાર્ય છે. ગુરુ દેવ અત્યારે જે વેદનામાંથી પસાર થઈ રહ્યા છે તેવી વેદનામાંથી આપણા દેશના અનેક વિશુદ્ધ આત્માએ પસાર નહી થાય ત્યાં સુધી સનાતનીઓનાં હૃદય પીગળશે નહી અને અસ્પૃશ્યતાનું કલક ધાવાશે નહી. આપણે પ્રાર્થના કરીએ કે ઈશ્વર એમને સાજાસમા રાખે અને ઘણાં વર્ષો જિવાડે.
- ગુરુ દેવે કામારિનને જે સખત કાગળ લખ્યો છે તેની અસર એના ઉપર થવી જ જોઈએ. મારા આ કષ્ટમય દિવસોમાં ગુરુદેવના આશીર્વાદ અને મદદ મારે માટે અમૂલ્ય છે. મારા પ્રેમ તેમને હું પાઠવું છું.”
એક બંગાળી આસિસ્ટન્ટ એકાઉન્ટન્ટ જનરલ હંમેશાં કાગળ લખે છે. તેણે આ વેળા લખ્યું કે તમારું શરીર ટ્રસ્ટ છે, એને ફરી ફરીને ઉપવાસ કરાવવાને તમને અધિકાર નથી.' એને લખ્યું : "I appreciate your care for my body and I fully endorse your proposition that it belongs to the nation. But the nation belongs to God and if God imposes a task upon the body, who can resist it?" « મારા શરીરની તમે બહુ કાળજી કરે છે. એની હું કદર કરું છું. એ રાષ્ટ્રની મિલકત છે એમ તમે કહો છો એ હું પૂરેપૂરું સ્વીકારું છું.
