કડી ૧૧ દીન દાસ-સૌન્દર્યની દેવીને દીન દાસ.

આ કાવ્યમાં યશોધરા અને દયા પ્રેમના નિધાન બુદ્ધદેવ એ પાત્રને માત્ર આધારરૂપે લીધા છે.
બુદ્ધનો પ્રેમ માનવજાતિ ઉપર હતો, છતાં તેનું સૂક્ષ્મ સ્વરૂપ કવિત્વદષ્ટિથી આ કાવ્યમાં જુદાં જુદાં ચિહ્નોનેથી આંકયું છે.
આ કાવ્યની પ્રેરણા નીચેનું વચન વાંચીને થઈ હતી –
"They (i. e. the children ) learnt their letters he- causc Sanzo had told them of a grcat man of okl who could write letters on the sky and upon running water, How delightful it would be to paint black strokes an the sky and send honorable love to the Moon Lady, or write upon the river at the coming of the iris bloom!

કડી ૩-૪. મરણ અને જીવન વચ્ચે, મરણશ્ય્યા ઉપર, રહેલા પતિની સેવા કરતી યુવતિનાં આંસુ હૃદયમાં ગૂઢ રહેલાં-હેમની સુન્દરતા અને મધુરતાથી કુસુમ બનતાં કલ્પ્યાં છે.
કડી ૫. ચરણ ૧–ઇન્દ્રધનુ-બુરખો = ઈન્દ્રધનુરૂપી બુરખો .
